On July 14, the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bulgaria to Armenia Georgi Karastamatov , who is completing his diplomatic mission in Armenia.

The presidential press service informed the NEWS.am that the Armenian President thanked the Ambassador for his personal contribution the consistent development of Armenian-Bulgarian bilateral relations. He noted, that the political dialogue between two countries in recent years has become more active, which is a strong foundation and guarantee for development of interstate relations in all areas.

Serzh Sargsyan expressed a hope that the next Ambassador of Bulgaria will also not spare any efforts to enlarge relations between the countries and to develop mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields. The President wished George Karastamatov a success in his future activities.

Karastamatov thanked the President for his high appreciation, as well as for his assistance throughout the period of his diplomatic mission. He assured that he is leaving Armenia with warm memories and good impressions , always remaining a frond of Armenia and the Armenian people.
