US intelligence agencies obtained what they considered to be conclusive evidence after the presidential election in November that Russia provided hacked material from the Democratic National Committee to WikiLeaks through a third party, three US officials said on Wednesday, according to Reuters news agency.

Even though the report containing respective evidence was planned to be submitted to US President Barack Obama on Tuesday, according to officials, whose names are not disclosed, they are still working on this report.

US intelligence officials had stated that Russian hackers had carried out cyber attacks on the US election system. 
The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) had accused Russia of helping then Republican Party presidential candidate Donald Trump of breaking into the computer servers of the Democratic Party.

Russian authorities, however, deny such accusations
