US President Donald Trump has resigned from the Trump Organization.

“He has resigned from the company as he said he would before he took office,” White House spokesman Sean Spicer told reporters at a news briefing on Monday.

All investments and business assets at Trump Organization already have been—or will be—transferred to trust management.

During his presidency, Trump will conclude no contract abroad, and transactions that are made within the US will undergo strict oversight to rule out conflicts of interest.
