Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe considered it possible to conclude a bilateral trade agreement with the U.S. under Washington's exit from the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), TASS reported.

Abe noted that their country should be an advanced one in the free trade area.

He also reminded that the negotiations on TPP included bilateral consultations between Japan and the United States and stressed that the country will continue to defend its interests.
