India’s Meghalaya governor V Shanmuganathan was fired, after his staff had sent an official letter to the President Pranab Mukherjee, reports The Indian Awaaz.

The letter, requiring the resignation of 67-year-old official, was also sent to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It was signed by 80 people. The employees told, that Shanmuganathan was treating them badly. According to them he was "rude, arrogant, and impulsive.”  He humiliated, beat, and even subjected his colleagues to torture.

In addition, the governor "turned his official residence into young ladies’ club. "Young ladies come and go at will on direct orders of the governor ... many of them have direct access to his bedroom," claimed the petition.
