A rodeo in New Zealand will replace animals with men dressed as sheep in its children’s sheep-chasing event. The sheep-chasing is a popular entertainment among children but, according to some animal rights activists, is cruel to the animals. The rodeo organizers thus attempted to avoid cruelty to animals and save the show at the same time.

Last year the sheep were replaced with sacks of wool dragged around the arena by clowns, however, this year the organizers attempted more realistic show with people in sheep outfits.
