Two Bundestag members Omid Nouripour and Niema Movassat fear they would not be able to travel to U.S. because of a new “Muslim ban” by President Trump.
Both have German and Iranian passports, DW reported.
Nima Movassat said the new bill limits his political activities, since the MP is involved in policy of assistance to the developing countries. His job is often related to the UN with its headquarters located in New York. The MP fears he would not be able to visit U.S., and this would be a real problem.
Omid Nouripour, deputy chairman of German-American parliamentary group, suggests that he would also fall under a ban despite having a diplomatic passport.
