Moscow is seriously concerned about the Knesset Law, which legalized the settlements built in the West Bank, on the Palestinian land, announced the Russian Foreign Ministry in a press release. This regulation applies to 4 thousand units of housing in the occupied Palestinian territories. 

The Russian Foreign Ministry believes, that this decision will certainly have negative consequences for Israeli-Palestinian peace process. "The international efforts aimed at re-launching the peace process are now threatened to failure."

Moscow still considers, that all the issues of the final status of the Palestinian territories, including the border issue, should be solved in a direct dialogue between the political parties. Therefore, any action that predetermines the outcome of these negotiations, is considered as non-constructive, the press release reads.
