The death toll has reached four in French Alps. A few more people remain missing due to the snow avalanche, reports BBC.

It was earlier reported, that nine people remained under the snow. Two were rescued, four died. The rescuers continue searching another three people.

400 meters long avalanche struck the part of the resort in the French Alps, where there were no roads. Usually it is only the lovers of extreme sports prefer to ski in such places.
