We have declared 2017 the year of diagnosis, public administration system reforms, sanitization, disinfection, and stabilization.

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Karen Karapetyan, on Wednesday stated the aforementioned during a meeting with voters in Vagharshapat (Etchmiadzin) town.  

“If we perform these functions—and we definitely will perform these functions, we will have a very clear, continuous, regular, sustainable, and healthy growth as of 2018,” stressed Karapetyan. “We need to be realistic, and [therefore] we have put this realistic approach in the 2017 budget.”

The PM added that they have an inner conviction that they will not feel uncomfortable before their conscience.

“There is a hardened view that there is no place to invest money in Armenia, [and that] if you invest, you will not make money, etc.” stated Karen Karapetyan. “This isn’t so, and today we have 3.2 billion [US] dollars of approved investment projects; we plan to implement 850 million dollars from this in 2017. In addition, 5.3 billion-dollar [worth of] projects are discussed in the government.”
