YEREVAN. – Azerbaijan is to blame for the suspension of the talks toward the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. 

Ambassador Ara Papyan, Modus Vivendi Center Director and political scientist, said the above-said at a press conference on Wednesday.

In his words, Azerbaijan FM Elmar Mammadyarov’s latest statement is the affirmation of what exists today.

“That is, the negotiations are suspended, and Azerbaijan is to blame for this,” noted Papyan. “Let them blame themselves, since the parties must give up something during talks and reach an acceptable viewpoint.

“We see that all the authorities of Armenia have always made great and unjustified concessions; but even thus, we were unable to convince Azerbaijan to likewise give up something.”
