YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia received information, on Saturday at 3:20am.

Accordingly, the door of a room of a hotel in Goris town of Syunik Province had been closed, it was impossible to get in the room, and therefore rescuers were needed. 

A rescue squad was dispatched to the scene.

Prior to the rescuers’ arrival, however, the door was opened by local efforts, and Dutch citizen M. V. E., 79, was found on the floor.

The rescuers took this person to a waiting ambulance, and this foreign citizen was taken to Goris hospital.

Doctors said this person was in moderate condition.
