YEREVAN. – Layout of the forces between the sides attests to the fact that Azerbaijan is not preparing for military actions.
Political scientist and former deputy foreign minister of Armenia, Ambassador Arman Navasardyan, stated the abovementioned at a press conference on Friday.
In his words, however, respective chances cannot be ruled out.
“The rifle mounted on the wall may shoot sooner or later,” Navasardyan added. “The only problem is that Azerbaijan does not try to negotiate, and there is no need to pin great hopes on the upcoming meeting of foreign ministers [Edward] Nalbandian [of Armenia] and [Elmar] Mammadyarov [of Azerbaijan].”
