U.S. President Doland Trump has an intention to sign a law imposing new sanctions against Russia and expanding the previous restrictive measures, the Voice of America reported.
The Senate has passed the bill toughening the country’s unilateral sanctions against Russia, Iran and North Korea. Senators voted 98-2 on the bill on Thursday.
One of the provisions of new law restricts the right of the president to ease or lift the sanctions obliging him to coordinate his actions with Congress.
