The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia received a call, on Sunday at 8:26pm.
It was informed that a landmine was detected on the motorway between Srashen and Tsav villages in the Syunik Province, and rescuers were needed.
A provincial rescue squad was dispatched to the scene.
It was found out that a landmine—according to preliminary data, an anti-personnel and bounding mine—was detected near the roadside of the Kapan-Tsav motorway.
The landmine was handed over to police supervision.
