Bloomberg News reported on Thursday that US President Donald Trump has told aides he is ready to impose tariffs on $200 billion more in Chinese imports as soon as a public comment period on the plan ends next week, Reuters reported.
This will further deepen the problems in trade relations between the world’s two largest economies.
Beijing and Washington officials last week concluded talks without a major progress in resolving this trade crisis.
