YEREVAN. – Armenian Prime Minister is holding working meetings with the community leaders in Ararat province.

Ararat province is one of the agricultural provinces with industrial enterprises, in particular food processing factories.

“It is very important to study situation on the ground to get to know what expectations of the local residents and heads of communities have. Our task is to turn agricultural country into industrial one. This does not mean, however, that there is no place for agriculture.  We hope that efficiency of agriculture will increase,” Pashinyan said.

Later in the day Armenian PM will meet with the local residents in Artashat.
