YEREVAN. – A law on amnesty declared in connection with the 2800th anniversary of Yerevan and 100th anniversary of Armenia’s First Republic will come into effect on November 6.
President Armen Sarkissian signed the amnesty boll into law on November 3.
The amnesty will apply to 6,500 convicts.
