Former US President lawyer, Michael Cohen gave testimony that in 2015 a certain Russian citizen offered him to arrange a meeting of Trump with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Medusa reported referring to Vox.

Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller, who heads the Russian investigation, said in a statement submitted to the court on December 7.

The Russian, whose name is not mentioned in the document, allegedly claimed to be trusted in Russia and could offer Trump's headquarters "political synergy" and "synergy at the government level" with Russia.

“Cohen’s contact “repeatedly proposed” a meeting between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, suggesting that it would have a “phenomenal” effect on Trump’s efforts to build a Trump Tower in Moscow, which Mueller’s filing calls the “Moscow Project,” the source said.
