Before the kick off of the EU summit in Brussels, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas ruled out the possibility of revising the Brexit deal, Reuters reported

“We must do everything to avoid a hard Brexit. But what remains clear is that exiting means exiting - there can’t be any cherrypicking. With the compromise on the table, the EU has already accommodated Britain. This is a fair basis for an orderly exit,” Maas tweeted.

The EU will convene a summit on Brexit on Thursday evening. German Chancellor Angela Merkel and EU member states’ leaders hope the UK Parliament will support the already agreed Brexit deal to prevent UK chaotic withdrawal from the EU in March 2019.
