The Taliban say they are holding “another” meeting on Monday with US officials, this time in the United Arab Emirates, The Associated Press reported.
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said this talk will involve Saudi, Pakistani and Emirati representatives, too, in the attempt to bring a negotiated end to the 17-year war in Afghanistan.
The US State Department has neither denied nor confirmed previous respective meetings with the Taliban.
