YEREVAN. – There is no final agreement yet regarding ruling out the presence of foreign military in the territory of the biological laboratory in Armenia, Russian Ambassador Sergey Kopirkin noted at a press conference on Tuesday.

The diplomat stated that according to his information, there is respective discourse between the two countries.

“Albeit, as with other countries, too,” Kopirkin added. “In my impressions, the dialogue is very constructive; there is mutual understanding. I don’t rule out that some agreements will be reached.”

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had stated, on the air of Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, that Yerevan and Moscow were completing the preparation of a document guaranteeing that there will be no foreign military presence at the biological laboratories in Armenia.

To note, reference laboratories function in several ex-Soviet countries, including Armenia.
