Speaking about Armenia, we mean the state, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Maria Zakharova told 168am, commenting on the Armenia's acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statement.

According to her, Armenia is a strategic partner of Russia. She noted that when Russia talks about relations with Armenia, about a treaty, we mean the state of Armenia, regardless of the internal political situation. “We are dealing with the state of Armenia,” she noted.

The day before, Pashinyan stated that the new authorities of Armenia did not discuss with Russia the issue of the absence of foreign military in biological laboratories in Armenia. “Our government has not discussed this issue,” he said.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that Moscow and Yerevan intended to sign an agreement that guarantees the absence of foreign military on the territory of biolabs in Armenia.
