Members of a youth branch of Turkey’s opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP)  were detained by police on Saturday while handing out pamphlets containing information about ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) officials’ involvement in the 2013 corruption scandal, Cumhuriyet newspaper reported.

Seven members of CHP’s İstanbul Kadiköy Youth Branch, including Chairman Berkay Tapan were taken into police custody, Cumhuriyet said.
