YEREVAN. – On the threshold of the completion of his duties as President of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, Ara Babloyan had meetings with President Armen Sarkissian, Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II.

During the talks, the role of Armenia’s legislative body was highlighted in the progress of the country, which has passed to a parliamentary system of government, the NA informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The lawmaking activities of the Armenian parliament of the 6th convocation, and the work done within international platforms and parliamentary organizations were summed up and assessed, too.

The interlocutors expressed the hope that the newly elected National Assembly will continue the parliamentary traditions and will give new impetus and quality to the activities of the Armenian legislature.
