Constructive elements are obsereved in moves and calls of the Armenian National Congress (ANC), said Mkrtich Minasyan, MP from Republican Party.

The MP noted he disagrees with the statements voiced by ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan during the March 17 rally, but believes the opposition’s position has become more constructive. “If the challenges are realistic they can be welcomed,” he said noting it does not mean authorities are ready for dialogue with the opposition.  “It is too early to speak about dialogue,” Minasyan added.

Сommenting on Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s assertions Egypt or Tunisia scenarios are possible in the republic, the MP said revolution is unlikely in Armenia.
