The Armenian Foreign Ministry commented on the invitation by the Belarusian authorities to the representatives of Azerbaijan to celebrate the Independence Day of Belarus.
“It is the sovereign right to invite any representative of any state,” Armenian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Anna Naghdalyan told reporters on Wednesday.
Her remarks came in response to comment on how the Foreign Ministry views the participation of Azerbaijani representatives in the festivities.
