During a question-and-answer session in parliament, Theresa May said she isn’t planning on leaving parliament after stepping down from the office of Prime Minister of Great Britain, reports RIA Novosti.

However, leader of the Liberal-Democratic Party Vince Cable has said May will leave parliament.

May’s predecessor, David Cameron, had declared that he would be leaving parliament after his resignation.

May will transfer her powers to the new Prime Minister on July 24.
