The United Nations has highly appreciated the professionalism of the Ombudsman of Armenia, and this is very important because, for Arman Tatoyan and his institution, democracy, constitutionality and the supremacy of human rights are values that lie at the core of their daily activities. This is what former Ombudsman of Armenia Armen Harutyunyan declared during a conference dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the institution of the Ombudsman of Armenia today.

According to him, there are many global challenges, and one of them is the extreme form of manifestation of democracy when people impose their will and opinions on the majority, something that, according to Harutyunyan, needs to be eliminated.
