During today’s session of the Council of Elders of Yerevan, First Deputy Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan said he can’t state exactly when construction of the new metro station in Yerevan will be over.

“It might be during the administration of the incumbent municipal authorities or the future municipal authorities. I can only say that we won’t have to start from scratch,” he said.

The official recalled that Yerevan Municipality has announced a two-step contest and that efforts are being made in this direction.
