YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd newspaper of Armenia writes: Zhoghovurd daily learned that the Government is against the independent MPs being able to form a group.

Let us note that independent Ps Sergey Bagratyan and Tigran Urikhanyan had tabled a bill by which they were proposing to make an amendment to the NA [National Assembly] constitutional law and to specify that the MPs who have left the [parliamentary] factions can form a group together.

And, now, at tomorrow's government sitting on this matter, their conclusion is included, by which they want to leave the articles proposed by the [aforesaid] MPs unchanged.

The government has concluded that there is no need to make an amendment to the law, and it should remain unchanged. They believe that independent MPs already have all the rights.
