NATO office to open in Georgia

A NATO office will open in Georgia this summer, stated NATO Liaison Officer for the Caucasus Zbigniew Rybacki, Eteri radio reports.

According to him, by the decision of the NATO member states, the NATO office will be in charge of different spheres.

We will focus not on a concrete area, but on specific fields, namely, national diplomacy, education, trainings and civil defense, Rybacki said.

The only NATO office is, to date, operating in South Caucasus.
