Turkish Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis met with representatives of Turkey’s ethnic minorities.

The Minister had dinner with the Head of Religious Council of the Armenian Patriarchate Archbishop Aram Ateshyan, Turkish Chief Rabbi Isak Haleva and representatives of the Assyrian community, NTV reports.

Egemen Bagis noted that ethnic minorities are Turkey’s wealth and reminded them of Premier Erdogan’s recent instructions to launch legal processes against those voicing anti-Armenian, anti-Greek and anti-Jewish statements in Turkish media.
