RF President Dmitry Medvedev invited Ukraine to join Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). Speaking at the meeting with the students of National University of Kyiv, Medvedev noted that Ukraine should make the decision itself.
RF President pointed Ukraine’s status as a neutral country, stressing that Russia does not need confrontation with NATO or other military blocs.
Dmitry Medvedev is presently on a two-day official visit to Kiev.
