TOKYO. - A 4,4-magnitude earthquake hit Honsu Island of Japan. According to Japan Meteorological Agency, no tsunami warning was issued. The quake epicenter was at the depth of 80 km in Ibaraki prefecture, ITAR-TASS reports.

No damage from the tremor was reported. The quake was felt in 11 out of 47 prefectures in Japan. Japan suffered a series of aftershocks measuring 4,0 during the recent days.
