As of today, the national debt of Armenia is 10 billion 637 million US dollars, or 4 trillion 186 million Armenian drams. Minister of finance Vahe Hovhannisyan said this during Monday’s debates of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs on the 2022 state budget performance report.

The ratio of national debt to the GDP, which was planned at the level of 58.4 percent, dropped to 46.7 percent.

"And if we neutralize the dram devaluation factor, our [national] debt will be about 53 percent," Hovhannisyan added.
