Deputies from France, Cyprus and Sweden, who arrived in Armenia to participate in the 21st autumn session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Yerevan, visited the Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial complex on November 18.
The guests laid flowers at the eternal flame commemorating the victims of the Armenian Genocide and honored the memory of the Holy Martyrs.
“We emphasize the importance of condemning the Armenian Genocide. We also have our own clear position regarding everything that has been done by Azerbaijan. We are on the side of the Armenian people,” said Pascal Lecamp, a member of the French delegation to the OSCE PA.
The head of the Cypriot delegation to the OSCE PA, Irene Charalambides, noted that Cyprus is one of the first countries to condemn the genocide committed against the Armenians. He added that everything that happened to the population of [Artsakh] Nagorno-Karabakh should also be strongly condemned.
