YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Police Force received information from capital Yerevan’s Kanaker-Zeytun Medical Center that, on Friday, Vardan A., 44, had arrived to the hospital, with head injuries, informing he was injured during an argument.  

Police investigation revealed that, on the same day, an argument took place between Vardan A. and previously convicted Mushegh Aleksanyan, 39, and his friends, during which Aleksanyan hit Vardan A.’s head with a cane and injured him, and the latter fired in the air with his rifle, Police Force Public Relations and News Department informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.    

Mushegh Aleksanyan was detained on the same day, the rifle is seized, and circumstances of the incident are being ascertained.
