The net inflow of remittances to Armenia decreased by 48.3 percent in the first half of 2024. Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan stated this during the debates on the state budget implementation report for the first half of 2024 at Monday’s meeting of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs of the National Assembly.
According to Hovhannisyan, the 69.4-percent drop in the net inflow of non-commercial remittances from Russia had the most negative impact.
