Voting in the parliamentary elections was completed in Georgia at 20:00 local time, the First Channel of Georgia reported. The total number of voters in the October 26 elections was 3,508,294.

Parliamentary elections in Georgia were held for the first time using electronic technologies. In this way, voters voted in more than 90% of polling stations. Elections under the traditional system took place in about 10% of polling stations opened throughout the country, where the number of registered voters is less than 300.

In Georgia, 3,044 polling stations were opened, including 13 by exception, 12 of them in penitentiary institutions and one in a psychiatric center.

The 150-seat parliament, elected under a proportional system, will be filled by those parties that pass the 5 percent threshold.
