US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth used several Signal messenger chats for the Department of Defense, including military needs, sources said, reports The Wall Street Journal.
As per these sources, Hegseth used at least 12 chats. In one of them, he told his aides to inform foreign governments about the ongoing military operation.
Also, Hegseth used the messenger to discuss media appearances, foreign trips, his schedule, and several other non-classified but confidential information.
