Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after talks with the special envoy of the US President Steven Witkoff, ordered to send an Israeli delegation to Qatar to continue negotiations on the release of hostages held by radicals in the Gaza Strip. The office of the head of the Israeli Cabinet announced. 

“Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met today with special envoy of the US President, Stephen Witkoff. In the meeting, the prime minister discussed the latest efforts to implement the hostage release deal proposed by Witkoff before the fighting [in the Gaza Strip] expands. To this end, the prime minister ordered that a delegation of negotiators be sent to Doha tomorrow (May 13),” the statement said.
