Armenia is a reliable and trustworthy partner for Kazakhstan, and our relations are based on mutual friendship and mutual respect. Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stated this after Friday’s exchange of documents with visiting Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and noted that he highly values the results of today’s substantive negotiations.

“Kazakhstan has always been a close and friendly country for Armenia and the Armenian people, and we highly value the history, rich cultural heritage, and traditions of the Armenian people. These values are the foundation upon which we build our multifaceted cooperation. We intend to continue developing our mutually beneficial cooperation,” said the Kazakh president.

According to Tokayev, his official visit to Armenia last year, its results, and the results of the negotiations held during today’s visit attest to these relations.

“Armenia-Kazakhstan relations have strategic importance. Within this framework we have signed a joint statement, and within the framework of the visit the relations between the two countries have been further enhanced. New paths have opened, and new phases have opened for cooperation. In this regard, allow me to highlight the role of esteemed Mr. Nikol Pashinyan in advancing Armenia–Kazakhstan relations,” said the Kazakh leader.
