President Donald Trump’s administration has announced that it will review the green cards issued to individuals who immigrated to the United States from 19 countries.

This decision was made following an armed attack on National Guard troops near the White House, in which an Afghan national is suspected to have been involved.

In response to a BBC question about which countries are on this list, the US Citizenship and Immigration Services cited Trump’s June executive order, which banned citizens from 12 Asian, African, and Latin American countries from entering the United States and, also, restricted entry for citizens of seven other countries.
