The year 2026 has already started with achievements. Ambassador Vassilis Maragos, Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Armenia, noted this in his remarks at a security forum Wednesday.

Also, he congratulated Armenia on the EU’s behalf for the work that has been done in the context of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project, and stated that the EU is ready to participate in the broader connectivity agenda.

Over the past few weeks, there have been active discussions at various levels about specific programs, and they will continue them, Maragos added.

And in the context of the upcoming visits of EU officials to Armenia, Maragos stated that these are all areas where they expect greater results for the benefit of Armenian citizens, but also to strengthen Armenia’s resilience, security, and sovereignty.
