Azatutyun, the RFE/RL’s Armenian service, has received a comment from the staff of US Vice President JD Vance regarding the deletion of the social media post about Vance’s visit to the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan.

Vance's staff reported that the aforesaid post was mistakenly posted by staff who were not part of the delegation led by the US Vice President.

Vance's press secretary, in turn, stated that Vance’s social media account is managed by those employees who mainly distribute photos and videos of the US Vice President, and the latter's view on this matter can be found in the comments he had made near the plane.
