Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonyan on Tuesday received Markus Ritter, head of the European Union civilian monitoring mission in Armenia (EUMA), on the occasion of the completion of his duties in the country.

Abisoghomonyan expressed his gratitude to Ritter for his consistent work and effective cooperation, and wished him success in his future endeavors, informs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

Also, the deputy FM lauded the contribution of the EUMA to ensuring stability in the border areas of Armenia.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the continuously deepening relations between Armenia and the European Union (EU), and emphasized the importance of the Armenia–EU Partnership Strategic Agenda signed last year.
