I hope that the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan will be signed soon, for the benefit of the peoples of the region. Greek President Konstantinos Tasoulas noted this during his meeting with visiting Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan.

Khachaturyan, for his part, presented the opportunities provided by the declaration signed in Washington on August 8, 2025, and the efforts aimed at establishing peace in the South Caucasus.

The tête-à-tête between the two presidents was followed by an expanded meeting.

Vahagn Khachaturyan is in Greece on a state visit. The latter’s agenda includes matters aimed at developing multi-sectoral cooperation between Armenia and Greece. In particular, a memorandum of understanding was signed today to increase bilateral cooperation in the technological sector.
