Armenia is interested in Indian-made Pralay tactical ballistic missiles, reports Indian Defence Research Wing (IDRW).

According to IDRW, Azerbaijan uses Israeli-made Barak-8 anti-aircraft missile systems, in the development of which India also participated.

To overcome this air defense system, Armenia is considering the possibility of purchasing Indian-made Pralay surface-to-surface missiles. The latter are short-range missiles, the important feature of which is that they can maneuver at the end of their trajectory and change the direction of their flight, and this makes them an extremely difficult target to intercept even by modern systems such as Barak-8 or S-300.

If the deal is signed, Armenia will become the first foreign buyer of the Pralay system.
