“Names are not important, what’s important is what our people want: to remain in the past, or to move toward the future?” This was stated by Armenia’s opposition Heritage Party Chairman Raffi Hovannisian, during the Party’s meetings with the voters on Monday, and along the lines of the campaigning for the country’s forthcoming National Assembly elections. He added that “the citizens will make the choice.”

“A few days are left for the elections, and a significant majority of Armenia’s citizens already have made their choice, and that choice is Heritage,” Raffi Hovannisian concluded.

In his turn, Armenia’s former FM Alexander Arzumanyan called upon the people to not be afraid of the authorities, and to remember that “they are our servants.”
